H mart.co.uk. will take payment from you via its secure payment system at the eShop receives your order. In the event that Hmart.co.uk is unable to supply items, our eShop staffs inform you of this as soon as possible. A refund will be given if you already paid for the items.

Refunds for transactions made using a Credit or debit card may takeup to 7-10 working days including weekends and bank holidays.

We accept the following methods of payment:

* Hmart.co.uk accepts Visa, Visa debit, and credit cards as well as Master Cards bearing the MasterCard or Visa logo. We do not accept Personal Cheque, Cash, or any other payment method not listed above.

* Our Hmart.co.uk does not accept American Express Credit Cards.

* Your credit/debit card will be charged immediately once your order is submitted.

In case, we find that there is an out-of-stock item or a substitute item from the list of your purchased items during shipping process, the difference in amount will be credited or charged to the original purchasing credit/debit card account number. It usually takes up to 7-10 working days to process the refund request from the bank.

* We are committed to protecting your privacy. Hmart.co.uk will never sell or rent any of your personal information under any circumstances. 

Online Payment System

‘Realex’ Payments is one of the secure payment providers in the payment processing market. Customer payment will be processed by ‘Realex’. Customer card details are entered over a secure server system. The payment information is encrypted before being processed. (Realex payment systems are fully accredited with level 1 PCI DSS compliance, keeping customer data secure is our number one priority.)

Consolidate Payment Process (Transaction Process)

Step 1: Shopping Website at Hmart / eShop

The customer enters their credit /Debit card details on a secure web page. The secure web page can be hosted on the merchant site or on a secure page hosted by Realex Payments.

Step 2: Acquiring Bank

Realex payments send the authorisation request to the Acquiring Bank.

Step 3: Card Schemes

The acquiring bank sends the transaction through the card schemes before proceeding to the issuing Bank.

Step 4: Issuing Bank

The transaction is authorised or declined and fraud checked at the issuing Bank

Step 5: Transaction Message

An authorised or declined message is displayed to the customer on the Hmart.co.uk website.

Step 6: Transaction Complete!

The whole transaction process from Steps 1 to 6 takes just 3-4 seconds to complete.

The ‘STRIPE’ Payments systems are certified by all major UK & Irish acquiring banks.

Returning Customers: Log into 'My Account' using the same email address and password used when the account was created. For password assistance, you may click Forgot your password? And we will email you the password. 
New Customers: New customers will need to create an account. Go to first page.

Finding Items
You can use the top navigation bars to shop by categories or use the keyword ‘search box’ to find your desired items. When you find an item that interests you, click the title or name of the item to see its product detail page including features and description.

Adding Items to Shopping Cart
To order an item enter the quantity you would like, then click the ‘Add to Cart’ button.
You can access the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking ‘My Cart’ on the right or ‘View Cart’ at the top of every page.

Proceed to Checkout
When you finish shopping, please review all of the items you've placed in your Shopping Cart. When you’re ready to make an order, click the ‘Continue Checkout’ button.

Changing Quantities

To change the quantity of items, enter the number in the box under the ‘Quantity’ column and click the ‘Update’ button under the list of items.

Shipping and Delivery

We deliver to most addresses within 1-3 working days. Customer orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours after the payment has been completed. However, when we receive a high amount of orders, the order can sometime get delayed for dispatch.

Substitute Policy

There are occasions where we stock out on certain items due to unexpectedly high demand or a supply shortage. Please let us know whether you would like us to send you substitute items (similar in quality and price) if an item is out of stock. If you indicate to us that you would like to receive only the exact items you order, we will ship your order without the stocked-out items.

Delivery Address

Tell us where you would like to ship your order. You can add, edit, or delete shipping addresses while you are in this step of the checkout process. Click the "Ship to this Address" to continue checkout. 
* Long distance (St. Martin’s, Isle of Man) addresses are accepted.
* Shipping service is only available within the UK.
* Incomplete or incorrect address can cause delayed shipping courier service.

Payment Info.
You can store multiple credit cards to use for your Hmart.co.uk purchase. You can add, edit, or delete payment information while you are in this step of the checkout process. Select one card for the payment of your order. Click the ‘Select Payment’ button to continue checkout.

Review & Submit Your Order
Review all the information you have entered and make any necessary changes. Then, click the ‘I confirm my order’ button to submit your order. DO NOT DOUBLE-CLICK OR THE SYSTEM WILL DUPLICATE YOUR ORDER. Once you place your order, we will send you an order confirmation email.

Check Your Order Status
After placing your order; you can always check your order status & history from the ‘Your Account’ link on the top right corner of every page on our site.

Delivery Terminology (Order Status)

Payment accepted: The payment has been verified and the funds is confirmed.

Preparation in progress: Order is being picked, assembled and carefully packed before ship out.

Shipped: Parcel have been collected by the courier and left our warehouse. (at the depot ready to be scanned and arrange Out For Delivery)

Delivered: The parcel has reached its destination.

Items listed on Hmart.co.uk are currently in stock and ready to ship. In rare cases, some items may be out of stock and not available for shipping due to unforeseen demand or supplier shortage. Based on the Stock out Policy that you choose from the checkout page, we will contact customer to explain this and send a substitute item that is comparable in content and quality to the originally ordered product (only if the originally ordered product is unavailable) or send only the items in stock.

Our stock is replenished weekly and sometimes daily basis depending on the particular item and brand. We recommend that you regularly check which items are back in stock.

We reserve the right to limit quantities of items to order, depending on the items, category, weight, price, and to prohibit sales to retailers as well. Occasionally our inventory of an item may be limited and we may unable to ship the amount you’d like to order. If you’d like to purchase an item in large quantities, please contact us before you place your order.
But sometimes, price and items availability online might differ compared to the store. Hmart.co.uk is also able to offer a broader selection of online-only items and promotions than in stores do because we ship these items directly from our distribution centres, without necessarily having to stock them in our stores. You will find great deals on Hmart.co.uk that are not offered in the stores.

On rare occasions after you place your order, an item that you have purchased may be out of stock. This happens either if there is an unforeseen demand or a shortage of items. In case there is an out-of-stock item on your list, we ask you if you’d like to have a substitute item, which would be very similar to the item you originally ordered, or if you’d like to receive only those items that are in stock. Any substitute items will be marked as such. 
*N.B. The difference in amount due to the substitute items will be credited or charged to the original purchasing credit/debit card account number.
If you're not happy with the replacement, we hope you can email us so we can rectify it.

The Items purchase of certain products and services made available on the Hmart.co.uk are subject to age requirements specified by law.

Online eShop(Hmart.co.uk) and our markets are not permitted by law to supply alcoholic etc. products or services to individuals who do not satisfy these age requirements and, if the customer(including Guest consumer) is underage, you must not attempt to order and purchase at Hmart.co.uk.

Chilled and Frozen Products requiring refrigeration need special care in handling and hence require special packing materials.

Any orders Containing Fresh and Chilled products (Kimchi, Tofu, etc) are packed with cooling materials in polystyrene boxes maintaining the cold chain and quality of our foods, and Express delivery is only available in our eshop.

Any orders with chilled products are dispatched Monday-Thursday and will be delivered the next day. (Friday-Sunday orders will be dispatched on the following Monday/Tuesday.)

Please be aware that some frozen products will defrost during delivery. When delivered, please keep it refrigerated and we would advise within 24hours or manufacture’s guidelines, whichever is soonest. (Please do not refreeze as this can affect the quality of the product.)

We will not be able to guarantee the quality of fresh/chilled products with any delays in the delivery caused by the absence of the customer on the day of delivery. Upon reason, any damages of chilled and frozen items cannot be refundable.

We will not be able to guarantee the quality of chilled products with any unforeseen delays to the delivery of chilled and frozen products after the order has been dispatched.
